Rahim Wright 3🌟 2024 DB Flips from SDSU & Commits To Arizona! Wright also has offers from Colorado, Purdue, Washington State & more.
"I loved my visit to Arizona," Wright said. "I love the all around fit for me and I'm really excited about this opportunity.
"My family had a chance to sit down with the coaching staff and get an idea of how they want to use me in the defense. They broke it all down for me and I think everything is in place there for me to be successful."
Arizona DB coach John Richardson and Assistant Director of Recruiting/Defensive Analyst Armond 'Mondo' Hawkins were the lead recruiters with Wright.
"On my visit, my family and I were able to sit down with Coach Fisch, coach (Johnny) Nansen (DC) and coach JRrich (John Richardson) and they showed me how much they want me to be part of the team," Wright said. Not only did they express their interest in me but they showed me how well I would fit in there.

Coach Jedd doing some work !!! Bear Down !
Celebrate flipping some marginal scrub from Fresno State or whatever one day only to lose 5* generational game changing local talent the next day.
SMDH...
Not much complaining about NIL bag$ in this thread.
That's curious.
I don't know that our football's NIL can provide more incentive than SDSU. I'm sure there was a slight step up in pay but the opportunity to play in a major conference in front of a national viewership is likely the incentive.

That is just it!
The two recruits we lost will be playing on bigger stages (in their opinion) and receive bigger money.
SDSU was projected to the PAC, a step up, but now are stuck in the MWC. AZ is going to the B12 where we will see a better competition level and better TV exposure than SDSU. Bey is an impressive player! Wright isn't bad! I am good with both additions. Wright may never see the field at the CB position with the kids already here, but we will see.
No difference in the bag from BIG12 vs. Mountain West?
Come on man, you can't believe that bs.

There's definitely a difference between Oklahoma State and Colorado State but I don't think this specific recruit was impacted by a significant NIL.
