Title: Brandon Miller has gone too far
Post by: arxpert on February 25, 2023, 06:57:19 PM
Brandon Miller does a "Pat Down" troll during his Player Introduction. I believe the NCAA has a responsibility to step in now. This has escalated. The blatant disregard for human life and now Nate Oats allowing the trolling of the situation has gone too far. Greg Byrne needs to step up and remove Miller for the remainder of the season and fine Nate Oats. If he won't do it, the NCAA needs to intervene.

That's disgusting. Even worse...the fans are cheering for him.

This has been one of his pre-game rituals throughout the season according to Alabama homers who are defending the wrong here.

However - be that as it may ---> Nate Oats made his statement that he doesn't pay attention to pregame rituals like this at all. So even if it were true that some videos are popping up of Miller doing this routine a month ago, a couple months ago, it doesn't matter. This is a prime example of a coach having a lack of institutional control over his program. The coach is responsible for everything his players do on the court. So the deniability here is fruitless. It is getting absolutely embarrassing. The NCAA needs to intervene. We all know Oats has no reason to bench Miller if he isn't forced to. Alabama isn't going to do anything about it unless forced to. But this really put the situation over the top for me. Outrage is 1 thing, but it is with full merit to criticize everyone involved now.

When we had a scandal going on and the "world was against us", we won the Pac12 tournament, had a great season and were put as a 4 seed vs a terrible matchup against Oats' Buffalo team. I am hoping the NCAA does something similar and loads their bracket in a hellish way if they won't do anything else at least make it unbearably difficult for them to have success.
