It's a skewed statistic, but Mamba Mathurin is a future 1st Team All NBA Player.

If Tommy wants a puncher's chance at winning anything this year he will move Pelle to the bench where his minutes will still be similar, but his role will change and he will flourish.

The irony is this is slowly turning into the 1997 feeling where we were piss poor in the Pac10 conference, then went on a run after barely surviving a 13 and 12 seed down 10+ in the 2nd half to both teams before squaring up against Kansas I believe then a 10 seeded Providence, then UNC and Kentucky if I am not mistaken. A mix of an easy path and the hardest path imaginable.

Pelle would have to be the Miles Simon of this run

Critical thinking would lead one to ascertain the point that if Pelle came off the bench he would be the "missing link" and lead the team to success that is currently no where in sight just like Mamba Mathurin is doing off the bench even with Haliburton injured his minutes are still where they belong for him to be the most effective for the Pacers who are overachieving because of the elite coaching decisions.

I still don't understand how Tommy Lloyd's success is driven by benching Larsson...which is somehow impacted by Benn Mathurin's record-breaking points off the bench.

Mamba Mathurin - Playing a role in the NBA, not starting automatically because he was a top 10 pick nor because Haliburton is hurt
Mamba Mathurin - Productive in his role
Tommy's Success - a product of the team's success.
Teams Success - a product of On-Court Play + Coaching Decisions
Pelle - Dragging team down as a starter, coaching decision needed
Pelle - Moves to the bench, coaching decision made
Pelle - Performance spikes. Plays More minutes in the game, but in a different capacity: at times being the primary star player on the court per the rotation
Tommy + Team = Success vs USC
