Arizona Vs Texas A&M Corpus Christi game discussion thread 12/13/22 at 630pm on PAC12N
The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders and the Arizona Wildcats meet Tuesday in college basketball action from McKale Center. Texas A&M-CC is 5-4 overall this season. The Islanders are coming off a win over Texas Lutheran. As for Arizona, they're 8-1 overall following a victory versus Indiana.
Texas A&M-CC has managed wins over UTSA, Trinity TX, UTRGV, Alcorn State and Texas Lutheran. The losses otherwise have come courtesy of Mississippi State, CSUB, UTEP and UTRGV this season.
Last Wednesday versus Texas Lutheran, the Islanders posted a 42-34 edge by halftime. Texas A&M-CC finished strong with 58 more points in a 100-63 win. Isaac Mushila led the team on a double-double with 23 points and 11 boards.
Over on the Wildcats' side, their lone loss came December 1 versus Utah. Outside of that it's been wins over Nicholls State, Southern U, Utah Tech, Cincinnati, San Diego State, Creighton, California and Indiana.
Matched up against the Hoosiers on Saturday, the Wildcats scored 46 points in the first half and 43 more in the second for an 89-75 win. Azuolas Tubelis led the team with 21 points, and Oumar Ballo doubled on 15 points and 12 boards.
