Stop the big man from Indiana, hit 3's efficiently, get to the line 30 times. No brainer.

This is what I would call a "Pelle Larsson" game. Get inside the arc, set up Tube and Ballo to get Indiana's starters in foul trouble early.

I'll be in attendance and I'm looking forward to this game.
Indiana's PG is older and bigger than the Creighton PG which will be a good challenge for Kerr who has been playing well imo.
#BearDown and beat the Hoosiers!

This is what I would call a "Pelle Larsson" game. Get inside the arc, set up Tube and Ballo to get Indiana's starters in foul trouble early.

Got to the line 25 times, hit 10/25 3's (40% for the maths challenged), stopped the Indiana big man Trace Jackson Davis. It's almost like I know exactly what I'm talking about.

Oh.. and that Pelle Larsson game thing.. yeah.. a quiet 16 points, some terrible moments that killed our momentum, but he still efficiently broke down the D, got to the line and then had some timely easy drawn up buckets cutting to the rim. His 0-4 from 3 is fully expected from me, but go figure... ADAMA BAL got in the game and got up his shots, offsetting Pelle's inability to shoot. Combining Pelle and Bal we have an excellent Defense/Offense rotation tandem. Bal is even a problem for opponents on D as his length is difficult to shoot over. And don't think I didn't notice Bal was in the game again down the stretch of the 2nd half over Pelle.. Tommy is finally learning.

Again.. It's like I know what I'm talking about.

PS - Honorable Mention: Henri Vessar. Best game as a Wildcat from my POV. He is becoming serviceable in this system. If he continues to improve I think the ceiling is beyond the "roof".

Extra observation - I am not a fan of the telegraphed lob entry passes over and over and over again. I can understand that you do it until the opponent can stop it, but that won't work all season. Matchup specific; we overpowered Indiana, but when that inevitably isn't working at some point I want to see more of how Tommy will adapt and get creative about the entry passes because Utah chewed us up that entire game.

A Bonus Thought - I actually enjoyed Tommy getting into the game. He was channeling his inner Roy Williams squatting down at times then roid raging. Actively engaged in heated verbiage with the refs and just plain ole showing he gave a shit tonight. So I appreciated that as opposed to Wholesome Tommy with his arms folded standing around.

Adama Bao is earning more minutes because HE is learning....not Lloyd. The kid is raw but obviously talented.

Bill Self made a living with telegraphed interior ooh passed. If your post player is isolated with a single defender, it's a practiced art form to toss it in and get an easy two. If your PG isn't accurate (ala Utah), it isn't ideal.
