To USC..... that really sucks
I truly hate just being a stepping stone for kids.

Reminds me of Larry Smith bolting for USC.......
Dorian is making one hell of a Heisman run so far. 4 catches for 41 yards after two games.
Smart move to transfer, buddy.

I am detecting "salt" here.
You usually "root" for the success of these types of players, but all the sudden you have pulled a shocking Heel turn on Singer.
Here's the deal. He got paid handsomely to go play for a school with a chance to make the CFP and to catch balls from the #1 overall pick in next year's NFL Draft. It doesn't matter what numbers he puts up. He will more likely make the NFL with game tape working with Caleb Williams than with Jayden De Laura.
Very ironic to hype the kid up all year then are sour now that he capitalized.
I rarely cheer for players that transfer away into situations that aren't beneficial (from a developmental and draft perspective).
Practicing with the top draft pick and getting two catches per game isn't nearly as good as hauling in the same 6-9 receptions per game as last season (from a QB that puts up big numbers).
Unless he steps up and does something to stand out within the Trojan program, he'll fall into an abyss and likely won't get a combine invite.
USC football and Arizona basketball fan here.
When Singer transferred in, the streets (forums) put him in that WR1 spot vacated by Addison.
That seemed like the plan during the off-season.
MJ3 played very well last season when Addison went down with that ankle though.
I was not one that cheered as hard for Singer to transfer in, as USC is VERY deep at WR.
MJ3 was my vote to step into that void (which I believe he did once he comes off his injury).
I can understand the narrative here too.
Singer would have been WR1 and got a ton of reps in this offense.
I believe he thought he would have been WR1 here, but this USC offense does not work like that unless there is an All-American, Biletnikoff type of prospect there.
Addison was last season, and so far, Riley seems to be ready to hand that over to Branch this season.

You just have to realize that the statistics are not always why players are drafted. If Singer has the tools, they will show whether it is at the Combine or at USC Pro Day. Being spoon fed balls by Jayden De Laura isn't going to increase anyone's draft stock. Scouts know the difference between being the only option and being a good team player who maximizes his opportunities.
I can guarantee Singer is more "on the map" right now than he was before even if the numbers don't reflect it. The kid took his pay check. It's hard to clown him for making the business decision. Whoever we have left should be able to feast. I think we essentially swapped WRs with USC, but I do not remember the name. What are that guys stats so far through 1 horrible showing vs NAU?
Let's see how JDL does vs Miss St this year because he already had major problems vs NAU and last year he single handedly melted down vs Miss St. I want to see some Edge and Revenge in his game play this weekend. I can be a tough critic, but I am always prepared to give credit when and where it's due.
We took Burnett via recommitment but I don't recall any receivers that came to Arizona from USC. Glad we also stole Prysock from that Trojan class. He has been solid on the corner and will finally bring stability (and size) to our DB corps.
I have no hard feelings for him.
I am self correcting, I was thinking of Montana Lemonious-Craig who transferred in from COL being basically the only good player on that team last year. I saw he had 2 catches, 1 39yd grab.
Yes, he was one of 86 kids to vacate Colorado because their new coach admittedly doesn't care about them as humans. Very different situation from Dorian Singer, whose staff at Arizona celebrated his success:

Bump. Wild already posted that Singer is transferring again. If he were smart, he'd return to Tucson and backfill Cowing.

He shouldn't be given a free chance to come crawling back. I'll take him though if he is really that hat in hand.
