1. Arizona
The University of Arizona is an hour and a half away from Williams high school in Gilbert, Arizona. Tommy Lloyd has let it be known Williams is a priority recruit. Lloyd has been to see Williams multiple times since the Fall live evaluation period started.
Arizona also has the last scheduled official visit set with Williams.

In the past, usually it was a good sign for the school that had the final OV from a recruit. Fingers crossed.
Been some great players who wore an Arizona jersey with the name Williams on it - Brian Williams, Pete Williams, Marcus Williams, and Derrick Williams.
Be nice to add one more to that list.

Good to hear wild thanks for the update.
IMO
Williams is the best possible fit over the guys who went to Oregon and elsewhere.
Hope he does this soon.
I agree Lg, cody has so much versatility.
He can play multiple positions if he can get stronger he can probably play the 4.
I understand Arizona is a national brand with enough juice to have a buzz internationally, but I would prefer if Lloyd was able to build/rebuild Arizona the way Miller did.
You try to lock up the elite CA/NV/AZ prospects, move out to the West region, then you move east to the Midwest and South/East regions before you go international.
I know that is not how Lloyd is going to do it (look at our 2022 recruiting class) but one could dream right?
I think Lloyd just has some serious international connections, an has been at for so long with recruiting euros, that is probably where he is really comfortable that's my opinion anyway
I wish he would offer more players a class atleast 10/12.
My opinion you don't give yourself room for failure on the recruiting trail with offering 5 or 6.
Coach Sean Miller is gone, this is t. lloyd's team now.
t. lloyd can still be an elite recruiter with different methodology and pool of talent. If he proves unsuccessful over the next 2-3 years he made adjust as needed too.

The biggest pitch you would be able to use by doing that is by telling these prospects, "You are my guy at (insert position). You are the only one I am recruiting. I am going to recruit you until you commit, or you tell me no."
I still understand your point and do believe that you should expand that number to at least 2-3 offers per position you looking to bring in.
The only way I can think of this working is if you KNOW you can get your backup options.
I agree mvpreed2 expand the offer list a bit.

Sheesh!
A 5* top 15 prospect is going to shun Arizona and USC to go to Colorado?
Only time will tell I guess..
Colorado? Seriously?
Wants to play for whiny Tad?
Can't-win-away-from-Boulder Tad?
What's-a-sweet-sixteen Tad?
Good luck with that.
Good luck to cody either way,, it definitely sounds like its probably Colorado
It disappoints me but what can you.
I wanted cody more than cook or kj. Evan's it makes me wonder what colorado sold him on.
I hope Lloyd has some other recruits in 2023 class he has his eyes on to offer if not I guess its transfers or more euros though I really would like more of a balance which right now there is not one.

Same here bro. I wanted Cody Williams & Devin Williams way more than Mookie and KJ Evans, and we whiffed on them all. If Cody ends up at Colorado, I think he's just looking for a showcase situation like his brother had at Santa Clara that got him to the NBA, but in a higher level conference. Tad probably promised to give him time at PG. Tom would never agree to that, and rightfully so.
Buffs it is...
Tommy missing on 5 stars to other Pac12 schools is a major problem. The Tadpole really out recruited UofA as a whole. Tommy takes a heavy hit to his reputation today. I don't see how he can overcome this one.
Well I'll be deleting him from my twitter and instagram, that'll show him!!..lol
How in the hell are we losing yet another recruit, this time to the Buffs!!..SMH...He thinks he's gonna make it to the league playing for Tad?
