Arizona: "They kind of came late but it was just because it was Tommy LLoyd's first year. They've been recruiting me hard, especially since I'm an Arizona guy."

I like this kid I hope Arizona lands him.
I just hope Lloyd did not get in to late with him.
I've some say he is a late bloomer like his brother.
He's worth recruiting based on his own talent alone, but bringing in another Perry HS kid can only boost your odds in recruiting the biggest fish, Koa Peat, in '24 or '25. Seems like a no-brainer.

I am going to go out on a limb and say that Peat is not going to care that a program has any of his former HS teammates.
I am going to double down and say that he might not want to stay "local" and go to Arizona.
By the time he steps on campus, the college sports world will be on their 6th year of infancy?
A 5* HS basketball talent is going to command a nice number, and I do not believe Lloyd or Arizona is going to be able compete with some of these other schools in that department.

I agree with this take. This is 2022 and will be 2023 soon enough. If you aren't being paid a minimum of 6-7 figures clear after taxes as a 5* then you are doing it wrong.
The transparency of these kids being potentially (and actually) paid more than most college students will earn in a lifetime for playing a sport for 1 to 4 years is enough to start the next civil war.
