When will Tommy stop ducking Mark Few? Everyone knows they setup their path in the Bahamas to avoid each other.

Nobody wants to coach against their former staff. Bobby Knight regularly scheduled his assistants but I can't think of anybody else off the top of my head.

This article shows that Lloyd isn't afraid to play against the two time defending champion, even if their coach is a descendant of the whining Hurley family.

Every year is different. As far as I am concerned, Tommy ducked UCONN when they were relevant.

Arizona has the 8th toughest SOS (and 10th toughest non-conference) in D-1.  Our staff can't schedule every Top-25 team every year, so I wouldn't consider it "ducking", especially when we just added the program during the height of their success (current defending champs).

This is awesome,  I can't wait to watch these games

Gonzaga seems to schedule more "top teams". Not sure the excuse.

I am all for loading up the Out of Conference Slate. I do not ever expect a March Madness Championship so I would rather play at least 25 "Prime Time" level games per season than play 20 "Conference Games" where we get about 75% being mediocre and then around 3 or 4 "Prime Time" level games OOC.

Load it up. Make us on the "esPn", the Uno, 25 times a year.

That's how you gain "exposure" and I once heard a rumor that Recruits love National Exposure... or in other words, the best players love to be Seen by the world... often.
