Only the smart ones here understand what I have been saying for months now so kudos to you WILD. You've been saying it a lot recently. I don't care about being the first to notice it, but it is time Boswell finds another school to attend next year as far as I am concerned.

Really impressed with the kid as of late, but 2 points in 17 minutes won't change a whole lot.

Boswell is a concern but Bradley doesn't seem to be to the remedy.

Best case, Bradley's increased minutes matches Boswell's production and Boswell sees a huge drop off in confidence?

We were making fun of Hurley for his recent lineup changes in February - this seems even more reactive.

Give Bradley 8 shots or the ball to make choices instead of Boswell and see the difference. Boswell's failures, especially early forces Love into Hero Ball mode. Takes everyone out of the equation and allows the opponent to hang around. Opponent belief is more than 50% of why we lose. Tommy allows that to happen 1st half all too often and he also allows teams to run us out of the gym in 2nd half's all too often. Our mentality is very soft as a team.

Guess who Love was passing to in the corner, wide open to win the game while he slipped? Bradley. I personally don't think he would have hit the shot due to Boswell's hoarding all game. No rhythm, no flow. When Bradley got in there for his minutes he was never give shots. It was the stand around and watch Caleb show. It starts from the fact Boswell is afforded the chance. Love didn't see Ballo cuz of a tall player guarding him? No. Love was never going to pass that to Ballo for the easy lob/jam. That isn't Love's game. That is Bradley's game though.

Since the ball can never be in Bradley's hands like that, we get what we get. It is all a product of Boswell being a failure early and often. Take that belief away and we get what we get. How many times will we ever see Boswell 6-8 from 3 early on and throughout the game where teams have to respect him and he can use that to get others involved? Rarely.

Bradley doesn't need to score to be effective. There is something called chemistry and energy.

If Bradley is in the game in the final 2-3 minutes and the final plays for all intensive purposes, then there is no excuse to not be starting him.

I will add that if I were in charge I would sit Boswell for the rest of the season and ask him to find a new team. There are at least 3 players on that bench that sit there every night thinking to themselves "what am I doing here watching his bum stink up the joint when I can hit a jump shot". 2 of the 3 have a release point advantage, the other (Conrad) is obviously a natural ball handler who can find anyone for an assist.

Tommy just doesn't know how to coach a deep roster. He is a novice. We are now down to 6.5 players again and will go down with the ship in March Madness vs a team who has an athletic Forward who is a tweener - bigger and stronger than Keshad and faster + more finesse to own Ballo.

Tommy still hasn't figured out that he sometimes needs to go with the patented Koloko + Ballo lineup in Krivas + Ballo. Until he does we are doomed overall. Ballo is too much of a liability. Krivas can hit FTs so teams won't foul Ballo automatically if they play together because the ball will not automatically need to go to Ballo for Ballo to be useful ----> and Ballo screening will open up space for slashing guards aka Bradley, Love, Pelle and cutters like KJ and Keshad.

Too bad Tommy won't figure it out this year.

8 guys regularly get playing time.  I don't know where 6.5 comes from but Lloyd knows how to rotate players, which is difficult to balance, considering Arizona is one of the fastest-paced teams in the country.

It sort of does. Boswell is the JDL of this team. Tommy just doesn't have the guts to bench him. I admit it is too late to bench him, but it should have happened relative to when JDL got benched. About a month or so into the season.

Boswell vs WSU in 2 games:

51 min played
2 0f 13 fg's
6 pts
2 assists
2 turnovers
1 steal
3 rebounds

This team will go as Bos goes. AZ is not a good enough team to beat good teams without a good pg performance.

I agree with arxpert. Boswell should not be starting and we probably should have been looking down the bench long ago. I have wondered a lot about what more minutes for filip borovicanin would look like.
