I think Bryce Young will look a lot better this season with TMac and the improvements made around him. If there is no improvement though, I wouldn't be shocked to see Carolina go crazy to get the #1 pick and take Arch Manning even in a Deep QB Class. The idea being to pair up the thoroughbreds and not mess around.

I don't think Bryce Young could get any worse, after last season. To his credit, the guy had zero protection.

Adding the WR's (especially T-Mac) to this offense will allow Young to throw the ball up and make more plays with 1v1 coverage.

He did "compete". The Panthers won more games than expected at 5-12.

The division isn't that strong either. I don't think Bryce is a bust, but he has limitations that perhaps someone like T-Mac can really help with. Especially as a short QB, he sometimes has to "toss it up there" and maybe T-Mac can come down with some over some smaller DBs.

Oddly enough, Derek Carr just retired. Not that the Saints were looking great this year, but wow. Should be a wide open Division with ATL being the most intriguing after their excelsior draft, but Tampa Bay being the most experienced.

Did you guys not watch the last half of the NFL season or what?  Bryce Young played really well after being benched.  Last 3 games-612yards,7TDs,0INTs. Ran for 100yards 3TDs. Last 10: 2104yards,15TDs,6INTs, Ran for 5 TDs, 200+yards.

Im just stumped how ya'll missed this?  It wasnt just the stats.  He looked very good.

I think he was good, considering the lack of protection and weapons.  But in reality, the kid still had more than to throw than 20 starting NFL QB's...and had the 31st QB rating.  Young was 37th in Yards per Attempt (min 100 passes), which shows that he can't look downfield.

Hopefully, adding T-Mac and Renfrow help push the ball downfield and a healthy Legette makes a huge difference.  I personally love the Jimmy Horn Jr. draft; he'll be a solid receiver (assuming Young can get him the ball 5 yards past the line of scrimmage).

If he can take the momentum of those final three games, perhaps Carolina can score.  204 YPG passing is pretty weak throughout zero regulation wins but he can use his feet...until somebody hits his 200 lb frame over the middle of the field.

I didn't miss it. I am the one giving him credit. I don't think the stats are the point. Winning games can come in many forms. He had a nice stretch run while other teams were tanking too. He needs to start the season like he finished for there to be any reason to have faith he can handle the role beyond this year.
