With all Fair Criticism comes Credit when Credit is Due.

Jedd Fisch deserves Credit for his coaching ever since making the permanent change to Noah Fifita. All of my fair criticism seems to have surrounded the offense under JDL. Clearly Noah is Jedd's "guy" and I was highly concerned that he would transfer out if Jedd continued with JDL. The "Servites" are all as advertised if not better.

I am happy to give Jedd his earned credit. I am happy to admit I was wrong about his ability to coach the team. This offense does in fact work with Noah and I am interested in seeing how our future opponents adjust to this now that we are no longer ignorable.

That is the next test for Jedd in my opinion. Now that we are no longer a surprise, will Jedd be able to adapt to the adjustments opposition will make as the film on his system and Noah stacks up/grows.

I sincerely hope we can thrash ASU and have a nice showing in a Bowl game. It has been a long time since Arizona Football has been "relevant".

Defense has been the strength, but the Offense seems to be clicking enough to compete at the level of this Conference... sadly just in time to be on the way out the door to the Big12.

I think Jedd has put together a good group and if he can add some more through the Portal, maybe we can hit the ground running next season. I think our Big12 Slate is very winnable. I see no reason we should regress back to what we "were". I think the win @Colorado and this win vs Utah are good statements. Defeating ASU would be a nice way to cap off this season.

Onward and Up.

Love the self reflection, but if we lose to ASU - I'm blaming you and this thread entirely.

This is the first time Coach Fisch wasn't referred to as "Brother Jedd"??

You typically own up when our coaches exceed your expectations; well done.

I think Fisch was put in a tough position.  He was forced to play the QB with experience because our O-Line was sketchy and we didn't want the QB of the future to get destroyed (the way JDL was injured).  The DeLaura injury was unfortunate...but worked out because Fifita saw his window and took advantage.

Arizona recruiting has been stellar and we should be in a good place for a long time (assumign the staff doesn't bolt for another gig).

Fair is Fair.

There's a Year 1 Tommy appreciation post somewhere on the forum too.
