Ike would be a nice option if one or both of our bigs declare for the draft.

Mitchell would only be beneficial if the staff can limit his bad shot selection. We already dumped a PG with high assists, awful FG% and substantial turnovers.

I like that he slashes to the basket, giving him those and 1 opportunities!

I believe Caleb Love was originally recruited by Steve Robinson...so I wouldn't be surprised if he started alongside Boswell next season.

That would be a nice backcourt if our staff could improve his shot selection.  Defensively, Love is solid (and he has a high basketball IQ).

Not sure where you are going with this one. Love is the guy who will take 18 shots per game and make about 30% of them. That's not the formula Tom Tom has been using at all. If Tommy reloaded with these types of players we would have a lower ceiling and a higher floor. That's fine if you don't care about OOC, Conference Titles, or Conference Tournament titles. It could be a formula for assembling a 1-off team that can make a Sweet 16 as a 6-10 seed though.

Love has been misguided because UNC has been running an erratic offense since Roy/Steve left and structure would allow him to truly showcase his talent. When you watch the Heels, it's obvious that Love is a special talent. Under the right system, he could be stellar.

Arizona seems like a realistic destination because of Robinson's relationship, Kerr's departure and our free-flowing offense.

We'll see if Love buys into the idea of sharing the ball...

Whoa...Bamba will get a lot of attention from the big schools.

Agreed.
You can start to see the business decision(s) made by some of these prospects.
You go to a "smaller" school, and earn your stripes.
When the time is right, you enter the portal, and let the big schools come knocking.
Of all the prospects Arizona is after, I see at least one more school that I would consider "big" to be after them.

The sad part is for every Armstrong/Bamba in the portal, there are dozens more that have that same plan.
The difference is most of them won't be able to level up, and won't be able to go back to their previous program.
The portal is a gift and curse wrapped up by big business masked as NIL deals.
