Arizona basketball has offered 3 Star 6'3 2021 PG Angelo Brizzi.

Brizzi is "a natural scorer that can get it done both on and off the basketball, Brizzi can fill it up in bunches and get hot very quickly. He has in the gym range, he handles it well and can create space off the bounce, he has a good IQ and good vision, he's a clutch guy who wants to take the big shot and he finds his way to the line often. However, he isn't just a guy who scores it, as he has good instincts and gives great effort on both ends as well." Per Prep Hoops.

Wow.  This is exactly the type of guy that you want to take over the point.  Hope the staff can lure him before the other major programs realize that he is underrated...

I am sure coaching staff must have realized this kid is better than a 3 star ranking an offerd  before he blows up.

First 3* to go straight to the G-League. Just kidding. Would love to see this kid in a Cats uni.

3* looks good! Nice to see a Irish kid making a mark on the game.

Come on, the kid is clearly Polish, or maybe French?

Wow this kid has  range  an can shoot it from
Anywhere.
I believe nolan Hickman  is the top choice at pg. Though you have  to have  other options.

I get a lot of a Barcello vibe from him.  Barcello was awful and I still don't know if Arizona has recovered from wasting a scholarship on him.  Hope I am wrong.

KansasCityCats

I like the Barcello comparison, but I don't think it's fair to negatively push that onto Brizzi.

Barcello is still a D-1 player that just wasn't right for MIller's system.  The kid jumped from 29% to 48% from 3 when he started at BYU.  Shot nearly 50% from the field, 88% from the FT line and had a 1.8:1.0 A:TO ratio.  Pretty solid for a kid that has barely seen the floor.

If Brizzi has the "abilities" of Barcello, I'll be ecstatic.  Hopefully, he doesn't come into college with the same inconsistencies.

Jdmarti

No surprise about brizzi   don't  know how hard Arizona  recruited him but  I never thought he was coming here.

It also hurts Arizona  can't  get kids on campus an who knows when that will happen.
