FOOD FOR THOUGHT

As of a couple days ago there were 106 QB's in the transfer portal and 133 FBS Programs.

Are College players allowed to have Agents? Or is that considered too "professional"?

I wonder if we are heading toward CFB being the first to break away from Academia and not give scholarships yet still operate as many say "independent businesses" within the University.

I think it is time that this charade comes to an end. There is no real Work-School balance. Why does the NCAA even try to pretend?

That's embarrassing.  The NCAA knows that if they push back, the schools will just leave and form their own entity that represents collegiate athletics.  They're walking on thin ice, which will likely crack in the near future because the NIL situation will overrun athletic departments and force all non-football programs to shut down within the next 15-20 years.

QB's like Will Howard and Dillon Gabriel will be fine.  Everybody else is just searching for playing time, which won't exist, unless they're taking a starting spot away from a lesser program.
