Fact is, Adelson threatened to move the Mavericks to Las Vegas if Dallas refused to approve building a new Arena with a Casino attached. The proposal got shot down. Adelson got together with Lebron and offered up a hefty share of the Franchise when it landed in Vegas and she dumped Luka to Lebron to try to help him get another Ring (Never going to happen as part of the arrangement).

This was all done by to make sure Dallas and their fans stopped buying season tickets, basically turned on the franchise to get the ball rolling on relocation --- at the time, Kyrie wasn't expected to tear his ACL, but he did. Anthony Davis sat out too while healthy enough to play in protest and it was all a gigantic TANK on purpose even though they were FORCED into the PLAY-IN Tournament they sat their players out and tanked the games.

This left Adam Silver no choice, but to award the Mavericks Cooper Flagg in a last ditch effort to get Dallas's Tax Payers to dig their own grave going from depressed and rioting to now floating on cloud 9 with a rather Elite roster so Adelson can get her way and get that Arena and Casino (Needs BOTH or no deal)...

Bibby may be right, he may be crazy. I tend to lean towards him being right. Removing the post was smart, dont want to piss off La Cosa Nostra.
