The Colorado Buffaloes are on the road as they make the trip to face the #6 Arizona Wildcats Thursday night. Colorado comes in off a 78-64 home victory over Washington in their previous contest Sunday. Arizona dropped Washington 95-79 at home in their most recent contest back on January 3. In the all-time series between the programs, the Wildcats own a 21-15 advantage but it was the Buffaloes picking up an 82-79 home victory in the most recent matchup back on February 6, 2021.

Arizona bounced back from their first loss of the year as they downed Washington at home in their previous game back on January 3. The Wildcats improved to 12-1 overall and sit 2-0 in the Pac-12 on the season. Against Washington, Arizona used an early 11-0 run to go up 22-10 with 14:27 to play in the first half and never led by less than six the rest of the way. The Wildcats were up eight at the half and built on that advantage in the second half to put the Huskies away. Arizona shot a hot 55% from the field, including 12 of 25 from three-point range, and won the rebounding battle 45-31. Bennedict Mathurin led the Wildcats with 27 points in the victory.

Colorado Buffaloes Looking for Sixth Straight Win
Colorado ran their win streak to five games as they knocked off Washington at home Sunday in their previous contest. The Buffaloes improved to 11-3 on the season and are 3-1 in the Pac-12 after that triumph. Against Washington, Colorado trailed by six early in the game but regrouped, including an 11-0 run later in the first half, to take control. The Buffaloes were up 11 at the half and didn't allow the Huskies to draw closer than five in the second half en route to the victory. Colorado shot 48.4% from the field, including eight of 20 from three-point range, and dominated the glass 47-27 in the game. Tristan da Silva led the Buffaloes with 22 points and six rebounds in the victory.

The Wildcats average 89.9 points per game this season, putting them 1st in the nation in scoring offense. Arizona grabs 43.9 rebounds per contest while they are 1st in the nation by handing out 21.8 assists per contest. The Wildcats have been good on the defensive end of the floor as they are 99th in the nation by allowing 65.2 points a night. Bennedict Mathurin leads the Wildcats in scoring by putting up 18.9 points plus 6.5 rebounds per contest. Azuolas Tubeilis (14.8 points, 6.1 rebounds), Christian Koloko (13.5 points, 7.2 rebounds) and Kerr Krisa (12.5 points, five assists) each average in double figures for Arizona. The Wildcats also rely on Justin Kier, Dalen Terry, Oumar Ballo, Pelle Larsson and Kim Aiken Jr. to contribute in the rotation for Tommy Lloyd. Arizona shoots 49.8% from the field as a team this season. The Wildcats connect on 8.8 three-pointers a night while shooting 35.7% from beyond the arc. Arizona has been decent at the free throw line as they sink 72.3% of their chances this season.

Arizona is favored by 15.5 and the Over/Under is 150.5

As empty and quiet of an arena as I've seen. The student section is unable to carry the acoustics from where they are banished so that the people who hoard the seats behind the benches can waste holding the tickets not bothering to show up and not creating a competitive and hostile atmosphere for the opponent. Students need to start #occupy the front rows
