Prematurely...

I understand that Hunter and Shadeur are special talents that will be drafted near the top...but they're still college students and CU "rarely" retires jerseys.

They played TWO seasons in Boulder.  One 9-4 record and one season where the Buffs won just a SINGLE game in Pac-12 play.

That's embarrassing.  These kids don't deserve to be with former National Champions.  Perhaps they'd earn it if they become ambassadors of the University and create legacies in the NFL.  Let somebody else besides "Daddy" retire your jersey.

I have not been on the Hunter bandwagon at all from the start, but I am almost positive he is a true game changer. Shadeur on the other end... he may be Geno Smith.. maybe better, maybe worse.

It will be the Sanders name that besmirches the university, but not Hunter's. He won that Heisman even though I had Jeanty and it was very close in voting which makes me think palms were greased.

Either way, Hunter seems to be the truth. Shadeur is a wait and see for me. I am wondering if he even goes 1st round anymore. There are other QBs too that are better in my eyes. I won't be shocked if he falls to the 3rd.

Agreed on the talent levels. Hunter is a legit starter from day one.

Shadeur won't fall in the draft because of hype. He's a 2nd-3rd rounder, yet I couldn't envision him falling out of the 1st. If he did, I'll smile at Prime's reaction from the green room.

If he goes in the 1st then it will be a trade up i think. Not necessary either.

I have Milroe and Dart ahead of him. This isn't really the NBA. Lavar Ball was able to talk his Sons to the top 2 picks.. I think to be "talked" into QB in the top 5 of the draft, or even 1st round, it will be a miracle.

No, but the NFL is all about hype, intrigue and sales. Sanders could be a Manziel to another bad Browns team. Johnny Football brought excitement to Cleveland.  Similar to Shadeur at CU, he brought more excitement, in lieu of wins.

Cleveland will take Abdul Carter to pair with Myles Garrett, Will Johnson, or Hunter.

They would be idiots to draft a QB unless it was Dart who I can see maybe a trade back into the 27-32 slot to do so because 5 years is the typical move.

But I think other teams will be trying that with Milroe, Dart. Maybe Sanders.

All just opinion for now. We will see.

I love being wrong here. Good chance Sanders goes quickly in the 4th but his daddy's ability to brag quickly went out the window.

FOOS

Other than his obvious God given talent, Deion did him no favors

I guess I felt it. 6th round is more of a humbling moment for sure, but it is of no consequence. 2 teams have 4 QBs capable of starting (Giants and Browns). Sanders can be out there easily by November. Browns had a good draft, but they did sacrifice taking Hunter or Abdul Carter. They got a haul, but so did the team that traded back and let the Giants take Jaxson Dart late 1st (Texans?) Smart. They really snagged a similar haul only going back like 7 picks and getting the 2026 1st rounder out of it too.

Browns fleeced, but they gave up pairing Garrett and Abdul Carter. I guess they couldn't co-exist. Passing on Hunter probably doesn't matter that much for them. But they currently have Watson, Flacco, Dillon Gabriel, and Sanders as their QB room.. that's just crazy.

Give the ball to Flacco and let him go get you 8 wins.

Funny how I called Dart 27-32...
