Where will our scoring come from?

In the Big Dance, Referees tend to not put teams on the line 30 times per game. Since this is one of Tommy's only strategies as a coach, where will our scoring come from when we are only getting around 10 to 14 FTA per game?

Don't type Caleb Love. We know he will shoot the ball 20 times when the whistles aren't being blown.

Who else is going to step up?

My thought is Maniac Bradley will make a return and take it to the rim every touch.

I don't think we run any plays. No X's and O's. So who do you think will step up and carry the weight?

I would say Henri, but I want it to be Carter. However, that would require giving Carter more options than shooting threes and the occasional backdoor. He should have the freedom to ditch the set and cut into openings in the defense any time he sees fit. And I trust his natural feel for the game as much as, or more than, anyone else on the team.

"Not running plays" reminds me of the end of the Xavier and Wichita tournament matchups.

Don't forget that Arizona is the number ONE scoring team in the Big-12.

Also, I believe that Wisconsin shot more than 30 free throws against us in the last miserably officiated postseason matchup.

Regardless, we will likely ride or die with Love. I'm hoping Bradley's recent consistency spreads out the offense to guys like Veesaar, Bryant and Delly but our postseason future realistically hinges on whether Caleb takes smart shots. Fingers crossed...

Only guy I can see stepping up and dropping 20+ is Jaden. But what we really need is everybody chipping.

Haven't really seen Carter work the post but I think he could Barkley. He is built for it.

Unless Carter is truly returning, I would condemn Tommy for wasting this entire year with Carter only to watch him go Pro... or leave. Carter should just shove Love out of the way and take 15 shots per game if he is going out then he should get to play the game.

He's way to skinny to be the round mound of rebound, but he certainly has agility, finesse, and the tools to go up and under on a bigger Center and get a "Hunter Dickenson" in foul trouble.

I think he could get Barkley down pretty fast without the weight. Just get close to the paint, pass or play towards rim. He just needs the contact to create the openings. Pulling off Kobe is asking too much.
