Yes this would be an incredible get of course, but what if we actually get him? Then what? We have 2 completely different sets of players. 2 teams within 1 team. Want to combine everything into a blender and indulge in this Melting Pot of young basketball talent? Ok. But maybe a state of the Arizona Basketball Union Address is needed from Tommy so that we aren't simply collecting Earthlings and there is actual rhyme to the reason.

Arxpert,
Why dont you start your own website with all your outstanding takes?

I'd rather be a melt on pot of talent than a St John's, who is full of "local" talent that play with egos and don't have a bit of chemistry.

This will truly be a "team" full of kids that want to win. Phillips would greatly help Arizona if he decides to pull out of the draft.

You are missing the point of my comment. It's not about having all inner city kids, all 6'10 kids, all Guards, or all internationals. It's about what Tommy is expecting Arizona Basketball to be as an identity. Right now he has an identity crisis going on and even though he filled the roster slots, I don't see how anyone else from 2024, 2025, or 2026 would have any interest in joining this "developing Super Team" you think is happening and Tommy isn't going to continuously lose talent that he refuses to let play.

This type of recruiting is how you miss on Cody Williams types of players. You might like that, but I am not accepting of the mid major mentality and i'm not accepting of being a place for 2nd round Euro Stashes to come take up scholarships just to sit on the bench and practice while getting paid. This isn't the NBA. There aren't that many games and there is no room to be load managing.

If you Pay the players, Play the players.

That's the new motto around here for me and I will be repeating it whenever applicable.

They did exactly what you asked: passed on paying Kerr $500K so Boswell can play the point and we won't have another guard going 1 of 9 from deep on a nightly basis.
