Title says it all and don't even try to blame the refs

Jedd Fisch is not a true Head Coach. He is at best someone that should stick to recruiting aka buying players on the open market. He isn't someone who understands the nuances of momentum and how to manage a game. One obvious example was burning a timeout on 4th down when he could have taken the measly 5 yard penalty and kicked it anyway. So many terrible play calls in terms of highly telegraphed calls including the very last play. As soon as the DL shifted, it was obviously over.

Fifita's 2nd game - Whatever, blah blah. He is being coached by a nerd who doesn't understand how to win.

Fisch should have went for 2 to win the game outright. He showed all his plays 5 times over. You need to just go for the win on the road. No one would blame you any worse than I am blaming Jedd right now for failing there. This team is supposed to fail, but it isn't supposed to beat itself like it did tonight.

Don't get it twisted, Mario Cristobal is the worst coach in history for what he did to his Miami Hurricanes tonight, but we are going to the Big 12 and there is no way we will be competitive to the level some of you think we will be without someone who understands how to coach in-game.

Fisch has done one of the greatest coaching jobs by turning around this program I may have ever witnessed.

We just took a top 10 team to triple OT, a team that is lead by a generational talent. ON THE ROAD!

You're out of your mind, pal.

And if it weren't for a few BS calls (dropped pass in the end zone that "stood"), Arizona easily wins this game.

I didn't read the initial post but I don't know where Fisch won't take the Cats. We're clearly improving on an annual basis under this staff.

Huge props to Nansen for developing this defense too.

Don't waste your time with Pert's BS!

Obviously AZ needs to start winning some of these games but I'm happy to see the turnaround in talent and competitiveness. AZ is already a top half team in the PAC imo and trending the right direction.
As a fan, It's an absolute blast to watch how hard these guys compete. They obviously believe in the coaching staff and the program.

Some will always argue the no matter.

The refs had a definite impact last night.
Two definite calls:
1. End of the half when the dropped ball was called a TD, it was challenged and not over turned, even with the video clearly showing the ball was never controlled and did definitely hit the ground. With only 2 seconds left would USC have scored a TD or gone for the FG?
2. Second half second scoring drive supported totally on penalties in the half. There was on third down a personal fouls face mask call on our DB that was NOT a face mask at all. Since when is it a penalty to put your hand on the helmet of a player you are tackling? That kept that drive alive and allowed SC to put up 6 points. Were they close enough for a FG? I don't know if they could have hit one from that range, but the whole game situation turned to USC's favor on those two calls alone. There were other calls of question as well as many no calls against USC for holding etc...

Now, you can call it what you want, but the calls went to USC more often then not last night. Do NOT say it had no effect on the outcome of the game.

Coaching calls? IDK how I would have called it, but the situation is typically one that OT favors the home team. Going for two may have been a better idea.

Team growth ?    YES! Lots of it! I still think we are going bowling this year. I think we will still hit 7 wins.

A Heisman winning generational talent at that!

KansasCityCats

Caleb will likely be the second collegiate player to ever win two Heismans.

Against his other 5 opponents, he threw for a 74.4% completion percentage for 320 YPG, averaged 4.4 passing TD's and only turned the ball over ONCE.

Arizona kept him at 56% for 183 "regulation" passing yards, 1 passing TD and a fumble.

Arizona went from being 1-11 (should have gone 0-12) to being probably the best 3-3 team in the country right now. I am not big fan of moral victories, but I can't imaginge what this sqaud will be like when the remaining peaces are finally assembled into place. Think where UW is right now. That could easily be AZ football in 2 years.
