I want to know how he is getting that NIL money to this point of internationals not being eligible.
I'm shocked he was paid at all for WVU. He flops all day and night. They Press all day and night. He will rack up 4 fouls before taking 4 3pt shots.. I don't wish Kerr on WVU. Unless Huggins has other plans on how to teach him how to play basketball that Tommy couldn't figure out and that Sean Miller never got a chance to due to the eligibility issue that 1st year.

My understanding, which is painfully limited, isn't that they can't get NIL money - just that NIL gets into they gray area of their VISA status. Articles I've read state most schools encourage international players to not chase NIL until they consult with an immigration attorney and setup whatever NIL they get carefully.

My sources are telling me that over the next to years Kerr will receive 500K in NIL. The international players not getting NIL money is a thing of the past as there are many work arounds. Kerr is getting a truck and the work around on that is they will be using existing photos of him for advertising for the dealership, which technically does not violate his student visa terms. Team sponsors can have a player film advertisements and sign autographs when the player is not on American soil(Think exhibition games abroad). After 2 years of NIL deals teams know how to keep from jeopardizing international player's visa status and keep homeland security off their backs.
@Bennedunk Melttherim , I'll let you explain how you know Kerr is not getting a 500K deal before I ban you from the entire site.

Check out the last paragraph in the link below which talks about West Virginia ranked #1 in NIL deals in the BIG12 with Toothman motors (I reported that they gave Kerr truck). I know it's hard to believe, but Kerr got a 500K deal and a truck. This one's for you BM!

I actually don't think it is hard to imagine. Kerr Krissa is not that good. WVU is not that good. Huggins is at the end of his career. He doesn't care who gets a bag.
Buggy Bear still gets his players to run hard and press for 40 minutes. If your backcourt isn't built to handle the ball, they can tear you apart. Their offense struggled and they didn't have depth so WVU put up some ugly losses.
I enjoy watching them but Kerr needs some work on his 3, D and ability to drive. Maybe Huggins can help...maybe not!

All goes to show this is and has always been the way College Sports has been handled, but now everyone gets to be salty about the open-ness of it. I can't imagine how many Real students are going to be getting angrier and angrier as they get inundated with unreasonable student loan debt and these Professional Athletes are pulling up to the student unions openly in Lambos and Ferraris with huge entourages that aren't enrolled.
I will seriously not be surprised if stories start coming out about campus protests or violence on these paid mercenaries.
The process will continually deteriorate college basketball, athletic departments and eventually the entire NCAA. We dug our own grave...
