Arizona Vs UCLA game discussion thread 10/09/21 at 730pm on ESPN

The Arizona Wildcats and the UCLA Bruins will rumble at Arizona Stadium in Tucson on Saturday night. The Bruins are coming off of a 42-23 home loss to Arizona State, which drops them to 3-2 on the year. The Wildcats are now 0-4 on the year after a 41-19 loss at Oregon. The team met last year and UCLA won that game at home by a score of 27-10.

UCLA is favored  -17 and the O/U is 60.5 points

It was actually a pretty good showing for everybody EXCEPT our run defense.  DTR couldn't pass to save his life, McCloud (who was eventually injured) ran an effective offense and it was a game until the last 15-20 minutes.

If we had some depth on the roster, SDSU would be the only game that wouldn't have come down to the wire.  And if McCloud had started that game, I think it would have a completely different outcome.

Hoping that the steady recruiting continues into next season because we're much improved from Sumlin's teams (although our record doesn't reflect it).
