I agree that your nine school lineup would be ideal but Air Forc, UNLV, Memphis, USF, Tulane and UTSA have already verbally committed to not jump (which doesn't legally provide reassurance).  I'm intrigued to see if they can poach the right schools AND convince the CFP committee to give them enough respect to compete for the postseason...

I don't remember if I even included those teams in my revamped 12-Pack. I have a specific list of teams I mentioned for a reason. I don't see any purpose in Tulane, Memphis and such joining. I also don't think Air Force brings anything to the table. Hawaii wouldn't be worthwhile. UNLV maybe could make some sense, but I don't like how they do business and apparently neither does their QB.

I like Fresno, San Diego St, Boise, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado St, Utah St.. I think they hold greater purposes. . I don't know anything about them for Football. Oregon St and Washington St makes 9 teams. Only 8 are necessary to qualify for the CFP technically. No use in dumbing down the Conference with cannon fodder. Maybe North Dakota St would be an interesting come'up and they can go back to the Pac10 Roots for Football. They seem to give everyone a game.

I like Grand Canyon, St Marys and Gonzaga for Basketball - That would be 12 without NDSU for Basketball. I see no downside there.

Brennan's blood chalice runneth over.

And so it is. Gonzaga will be joining the Pac12.

It is all coming together. 2 teams that I mentioned at random have opted in. I think it is smart. Gonzaga won't help with a Football team... they will still need to find someone else. I am rooting for North Dakota State tbh.

Also regarding Grand Canyon..... wow... finger/pulse. I haven't really been plugged into anything Pac12 since we changed to the Big12 so this is interesting.

GCU joins the WCC. Gonzaga gets scared & runs away to the Pac 12. If GCU joins the Pac 12, rinse & repeat. Gonzaga gets scared and runs away to the Big XII.

I am not impressed at all with the state of Arizona Football. Brennan has run this team into the ground. Jedd was bad at first, but if Jedd came in the door with the current talent here, he would be doing better with it. That is high praise for Jedd from me too. I think that Brennan was a knee-jerk hire. They really should have just let Noah's Dad be an Associate OC if that was what it was going to take to stay "loyal" and let a Defensive Coach take over in this interim year.

I have serious doubts in Noah Fifita staying here after T-Mac presumably leaves at the end of the season. For those who would try to play devil's advocate - I say this: Why should Noah stay?

Answer it honestly. The team is not good currently with T-Mac. Noah as regressed mightily. He has plenty of time to pass contrary to people saying the OL isn't that good. I beg to differ. Noah is able to navigate his way around the pocket, but from my POV he doesn't keep his eyes down field while doing it. He goes into "Scramble QB" mode and he doesn't really want to run so the commitment isn't there, but at the same time you can tell he wants to move around the pocket, scramble, but still throw -- however, he thinks he can do all of that while stopping to set his feet, then look down the field, then cock the ball back to start the throwing motion. That is very "Junior Varsity" in my opinion. He needs to be way better than that.

I think there are plenty of QB whisper's or programs that would like to pay Noah to come. So again, I ask... Why should Noah stay? He won't succeed here, but he could probably elsewhere. Not saying he is Jayden Daniels level, but most fans here would remember what Jayden Daniels looked like at ASU vs LSU.

There's no reason he should be regressing like this. It's a coaching problem.

Brennan and his "cool surfer Dad / Summer School with Mark Harmon from the 80's movie duuude" is not it.

He is a tweener. Too old to be young and too young to be old. I've said it before. He is the type of Coach that definitely is what he is. As-Is. Peaked at SJSU Level for sure.
