Missing the NCAA should get any AZ coach fired.

Missing the NIT is just another slap in the face.

The bar was certainly set high in this regard by Lute Olson. However, the streak of 25 consecutive appearances (not considering those seasons vacated by rules violations), would ranked 3rd all time and is certainly not considered an expectation that is realistic to continue meeting by any coach. We, as Arizona fans, often mention "Arizona good" but sometimes we get a bit carried away with it and cross over into the realm of unrealistic expectations. This past season went fairly close to how I expected it to go prior to the season starting. I think our early showings gave us reason to become more optimistic about our chances to have a better than expected season this year. Unfortunately, this didn't end up happening and we instead, saw a very puzzling collapse where once solid contributors fell off the radar. The "team of shooters" that was described prior to the season just started missing...and missing. Rarely, if ever, have we witnessed so many of our shooters go so cold for so long. The next season or two will tell us a lot more about whether or not things settle down here or if it looks like we'll be looking to make a change. Either way, it's not realistic to expect the person at the helm to be Lute Part Deux. His tenure was a historic one not often equaled at ANY school.

Thank you!
I didn't want to see us limp into the NIT and get blitzed.

We all knew it was going to be a rebuilding year you act like now it's a surprise expectations were low already this year with happened. Drop the bs

Wish our Cats had a better year but Miller did the best he could given the subpar talent level, injuries and other misfortunes. Time to move on.

Disappointing but after watching to see how bad team was kind of glad it's over thought they NCAA tournament  team before season started I thought players like akot Randolph  a Williams were going to be alot better than they were.

We are Arizona. We do not miss the tournament. Ever. Period. For any reason.

There is no surprise here, other than a fan base that lowers expectations for it's program...and uses the loss of 2 recruits - neither of whom contributed anything of value to their respective programs is not a viable excuse.

Everyone is mad about is that any objective analysis of the program has very little to be happy about.

Our NCAA tournament performance (when we do make it) has been horrendous under Miller. Our recruiting, outside of one and dones, is abysmal. Our litany of NCAA violations, ethical breeches and corruption is unprecedented at AZ.  Our assistant coaches turnover is legally necessary but unacceptable. Our strength of schedule is awful. In game coaching is 30 years behind the times and designed for a mid major, not a blue chip program. Our conference is dismal - the worst power five conference in history and we still finished in the bottom 1/2.

How is any of that OK?
